We are looking for a Desktop Administrator interested in starting a SWEET career as part of our IT team at PIM's Headquarters in Park Ridge.
JOB OVERVIEW Desktop Technician will be responsible for PC workstation and peripheral set-ups, deployment, installation, configuration and troubleshooting of incidents and problems.
This person will work with internal customers, including faculty and staff, to develop and deploy solutions to solve customer needs and requests.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES1.
Monitor helpdesk ticket queue and participate in ticket resolution in a prompt and professional manner2.
Provide support to onsite and remote PIM Brands users relating to both hardware and software problems 3.
Configure, deploy and support various endpoint devices, such as PCs, laptops, printers, barcode scanners and cell phones throughout the Park Ridge location4.
Assist in performing necessary upgrades and configurations to support business growth5.
Thoroughly document issues, as well as the analysis and design required for resolution, and contribute to the department knowledge base as appropriate6.
Assist other IT team members in project work where needed7.
Provide both oral and written status updates to management8.
Demonstrate an enthusiastic customer service-focused approach, partnering with business units in a positive, can-do manner9.
Possible travel to our Somerset location for coverage when necessary10.
Other duties as assigned by management11.
Work outside of normal business hours may be required based on project requirements or urgent business needs Qualifications PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSStanding, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling and crouching.
Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools and controls.
Lifting and moving of objects weighing up to 75 lbs.

WORK ENVIRONMENT Job will generally be performed in the Park Ridge office building.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
