Using principles of Lean Six Sigma, streamline company processes and reduce defects to drive down Hertz's cost base and improve the customer experience. Collect data, assess existing processes, and identify continuous improvement opportunities focusing on quality, cost and efficiency with stated business objectives using Lean Six Sigma tools and methods including DMAIC, DFSS, and Lean skillsets. Utilize data driven, fact based analytics to manage projects, gain stakeholder approval and commitment throughout the project life cycle, and achieve superior results. Provide inspirational leadership to organization in achieving continuous improvement by building strong relationship with the business leadership team, serving as a resource for knowledge transfer, and leading and coaching teams using continuous improvement methodology and tools. 15-20% travel required.
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in business administration plus 3 years experience. Experience must include: Process Excellence; industry experience at managerial level with responsibility for multiple departments and/or locations; Process Improvement methodologies including process definition, measurement systems, process analysis, improve process concepts and process control systems; Project Management; MS Office including Project (template and gantt charts) and Excel (vlookup, match / index function; pivot tables and charts; If functions (sumif / countif), sumproduct functions; Charting; Data validation; Data tables; Solver; Conditional formatting; Macros); Access; PowerPoint- including Captivate; Visio-Process and Value Stream Mapping; Minitab; Word; PowerPoint). 15-20% travel required.
Previous experience or training in the Six Sigma methodologies (example: Green or Yellow Belt certification).
