The 077 ring radiator delivers very sweet HF, with a tactile quality and high resolution. The H92/LE85/L91 horn/compression driver/ acoustic lens combo is the best of the vintage conical offerings from JBL. Very realistic midrange/ vocal reproduction. Very smooth. The 136a and 136H 15" woofer variants deliver very strong and accurate bass that has to be heard/felt to be believed. All-around excellent sounding speakers with any type of music. They're very easy to drive and beautiful to look at. I have many hours of listening experience with these awesome jewels. One of the best all-around performers of any brand. Pound for pound, I'd go as far to say, a solid top ten 10 choice of all time. This listing is priced for one pair.
